Description
Metamaterials, in contrast to conventional machines, consist of a monolithic structure comprised of multiple cells, each individually customizable, offering the potential for an extensive range of degrees of freedom. The metamaterials' motion is generated through deformation, enabling precise control of directional movement, which in turn facilitates the creation of various mechanical functions. This project seeks to harness the distinctive characteristics of metamaterials, specifically their rigid cells and flexible hinge cells, to construct a piler.

Design
Another notable feature of metamaterials is their ability to be produced with a 3D printer. We create designs using the metamaterial editor, which is accessible through Metamaterial Editor.
